Water makes up seventy percent of the surface of the earth. There's a wonderful world down there, and scuba diving is the only way to explore it.

Water makes up seventy eight percent of a baby's body, only sixty percent for an adult's bodies. Have you read the novel "Fantastic Voyage" from Isaac Asimov? It is one of the classic science fiction novel first published 1966 and it had been one of my favorite lecture until I discovered "1984" and "Brave New World" on my sister's book shelves.

But back to scuba diving... there is certainly a wonderful world to discover and to care about under the surface of the earth. Go explore it but respect it.

A few words on my way of diving...
I only can stand warm water... that is to say above 26deg Celsius. Below that, I freeze and this is no fun.

I fully respect the underwater world and I spend most of my 12 liters air bottle gesticulating in order to avoid to touch corals or anything under water...
And now that I cumulated a few more dives, I have a great deal to learn all the species and all types of life out there to be able to name them after the dive.

Did you see this stripped brownish and rosish fish with dark head and closed eyes? Yes, the one that smiled at me... dunno what i mean? ahem... C'mon, I am sure you saw it too!
